Description
FEATURES OVERVIEW ON GSG 16
ThisΒ GSG 16Β tactical.22 long rifle is ideal for plinking, training, or varmint management due to its light weight and compact design. The GSG 16 operating system is derived on the time-honored GSG 22 caliber rifle, but it comes with a number of upgrades that give it a contemporary appearance while retaining the traditional controls and handling. The GSG 16 has a newly designed collapsible stock that doubles as an additional magazine storage compartment.
This compartment can hold either large capacity magazines or low capacity magazines, depending on your preference. The newly styled forend incorporates standard picatinny rails that are placed atop an MLOK-style hand guard. Because the cocking tube assembly has an ambidextrous charging handle, the user can change the orientation of the handle to suit their preferences. The shooter will be able to acquire their target more quickly thanks to the revised front and rear sight, which have both been streamlined and simplified.
High Velocity .22LR (1260fps) recommended.
Features:
- Collapsible Stock with extra Magazine storage compartment
- 22 Round Magazine Included
- Ambidextrous Charging Handle
- Quick Acquisition Front and Rear Sight
- Faux Suppressor
- Picatinny Rails on MLOK handguard
Magazines will be removed from firearms when shipping to states with magazine capacity restrictions.
GSG STOCK
Speaking of the stock, it is full-on tactical and collapsible, quick to deploy, and very sturdy despite being polymer instead of metal. The rest of the rifle body is also polymer, but itβs very sturdy and makes the gun super light, aroundΒ 5 pounds empty. And since .22 ammo is also lightweight, a full mag adds hardly any weight. One nice touch on the stock is a spare mag holder inside the contoured shoulder pad for faster reloads.
Letβs begin with the primary part of the essay. TheΒ GSG 16Β has a tactical appearance, which lends it a degree of robustness that is not often found in.22s, with the exception of the converted AR-type platforms that are becoming increasingly popular. The majority of.22 caliber firearms have the appearance of hunting rifles, which is excellent if thatβs what you prefer. But if youβre anything like the majority of shooters in todayβs world, you probably want to have a little bit of fun with your small-caliber firearms by giving them the appearance of being as powerful as their larger-caliber siblings.
GSG 16 22LR SEMI-AUTO RIFLE
TheΒ GSG 16Β accomplishes this goal perfectly, beginning with the inclusion of Picatinny rails in every available space. The entire top of the chassis and the handguard are coated with rail, which, interestingly, is screwed onto an under layer of M-Lok. This means that you could, in theory, remove the Picatinny rail and install M-Lok attachments instead of those. This is a fantastic additional feature that is not normally discovered on firearms in this price range. The little component that is attached to the butt end of the collapsible stock is one of the peculiar aspects of the utilization of rail, however. It is not clear why you would require something of that nature.
